Mr. Moss is author of his latest book, Hooked: Food, Free Will, and How the Food Giants Exploit Our Addictions. His previous book, Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us, received national attention to the health problems and food addictions associated with the consumption unhealthy processed foods which earned him a Pulitzer Prize. Dr. Westerdahl and Michael Moss discuss how the processed food industry exploits our instincts, the emotions we associate with food, and legal loopholes in their pursuit of profit over public health.
