Today on Health & Longevity, Dr. John Westerdahl features guest Richard van Breemen, PhD, Endowed Chair and Director of the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University. This program features the Linus Pauling Institute, a research institute at Oregon State University. The institute is named after two time Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Linus Pauling, one of the world’s greatest scientists and humanitarians. The Linus Pauling Institute investigates the function and role of micronutrients, phytochemicals and dietary supplements in maintaining human health and preventing and treating disease. Dr. Richard van Breemen discusses nutrition, dietary supplements and optimum health. He discusses the institute’s Healthy Aging Program and the role a healthy lifestyle plays in health and longevity. This program is dedicated to the life and work of Dr. Linus Pauling in celebration of Linus Pauling Day (Feb. 28th), and features audio excerpts of Dr. Linus Pauling discussing his concepts of science and health.
