About the Show
Hope On Fire is a 30-minute broadcast providing relevant talk radio for life. It deals with a range of topics including: faith and spirituality, current events and social issues, lifestyle and relationship questions, plus the specific challenges facing youth and adults today. The approach is always to view issues from a biblical worldview. The program has a mission to share practical ways to find God in every day life and inspire hope.
This insightful talk show is designed to help young adults stay connected to Jesus and keeping their hope on fire. The Bible says we are complete in Christ, “And you are complete in Him, who is the Head of all principality and power.” Colossians 2:10 MKJV. Scripture also says, “For in Him we live and move and have our being,” Acts 17:28. When this concept becomes our worldview and our life compass, it burns as a fire within us—shining light and hope everywhere we go. Hence our logo symbolizes the burning bush (Exodus 3:1-7). We believe the power and presence of God is available for you, just as He was with Moses. “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5
Hope On Fire was launched in 2005 by Chris Lang and a group of volunteers. Chris was the talk show host and producer of the program for several seasons. Today two others, Sabine Vatel and Rick Mann also serve as programs hosts and the program is broadcast worldwide. Although Chris has a business management background with an MBA and CPA, his love of the Bible and media production ultimately led him to form Lifestreams Media and enter full-time ministry. The mission of Lifestreams is to meet people where they are and present the love of Christ and the power of the gospel through dynamic stories.
